LIFE always seems to throw obstacles in the way of true happiness. But it also tells you to never let life as we know it, stop you from being happy in building your life with your true love. This is my life. My fetishes, my cravings, my journeys. - All About Raphy

This is it...
This is it. I woke up with tears in my eyes coz I know this is the very day. "Ayoko na ng iyakan please", Rhon told me. This day felt like the longest day we have. Rhon took care of everything this day. From cooking, doing the dishes and all. We bought our favorite pudding bread from a nearby local bakery. We laid down together and had our moment that afternoon. It was the saddest day for us but we make sure we do something intimate before we part ways. A lot of bad signs still continue to show up that day. My brother was supposed to bring us to the airport but the car had tire problems on their way home from Zambales. We just hailed a cab to the airport and Daisy was already there to pay for the taxi fare coz we dont have any cash at that time. We never had much time to bid each other goodbye, so I gave the siblings their moment. When I saw Daisy crying while embracing Rhon, I wanted to cry as well, but I contained myself. Daisy left early coz Dale is not feeling well. I was left there. Rhon was already in the line going to the check in area, and as I see him getting nearer and nearer to that spot, its as if my heart was being ripped off. He was already inside and I can only see him through the tinted glass outside. He looked back at me, waved goodbye, and thats it. Thats the last time i saw him. Its as if the whole world was mine that time, i cried a lot and i didnt care if there are a lot of people around me. It was the most painful event for me. "Ngayon ko naramdaman yung iniwan ng mahal mo sa buhay para magtrabaho abroad." Ganun pala yun. I waited for an hour more. I just wanted to make sure that Rhon is settled inside before I leave. We were just texting that time. I went home coz he asked me to. At the bus, I still cried a lot. And as soon as I reached home, i cried even more. I looked at every walls and corners of our house, and in every spot I see Rhon there. Now Im alone again. Nakakapanibago. Para akong gago na iyak ng iyak nang patago. Dun lang nag- sync in sa akin na mag-isa na pala ako. Yung mga cheap trips namin, dine out sa Mcdo, Takoyaki, sizzling grill sa Farmers Plaza. Dvd marathon, pudding, maruya. Malayo na yung laundry buddy ko. Kaharutan at kakulitan ko araw-araw. Wala na magpepedicure sa akin. Yung kasama kong pupunta sa salon. Wala nako kasama mamalengke, magsimba sa Quiapo, at magvideoke.
You will be missed Rhon. 18 months is just a jiffy. But upon waking up this morning without you by my side, the very first day without you, it felt like eternity. I love you.
Last night, we cried our hearts out, it was the most tearful moment Rhon and I had. He posted two videos on Facebook, two of which he was trying to finish for a month now. He was in the shower when I sneaked into them, that's when I bursted into tears. At first he was hesitant to cry but he wasnt able to contain it any longer, then we cried. We embraced as if its the end of the world, and we cried as if that was the last night for both of us. At long last we had the chance to let it out, because we've been struggling keeping our emotions for how many months now. It still is sad til now. L

Have a Blessed Black Saturday
This is the most blessed Sabbath on which Christ sleeps, but
on the third day he shall rise again. Therefore, O Lord our God, we sing to you
a hymn, a song to your burial: By your burial you have opened for us the gates
of life, and by your death you have slain death and hell. O God, our deliverer,
blessed are You!

Revisiting Visita Iglesia
@ Holy Family Chapel Parish in Eastwood. One of the 7 churches we visited on Maundy Thursday of 2010 with my family and relatives.
Visita Iglesia, which in Spanish means “church visit,” is
one of the oldest Christian traditions being practiced in the Philippines. To
some it has become a yearly pilgrimage of prayer and meditation. Brought into
the country by the Spaniards, the Holy Thursday tradition can be traced way
back to the establishment of the Church when Christians visited the seven
Basilicas in Rome for the adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.
Maundy Thursday Explained
Maundy Thursday is observed by
Christians on the Thursday before Easter. "Holy Thursday," as it is
also commonly known, marks the Last Supper of Jesus Christ with his apostles
prior to his betrayal, trial and crucifixion as portrayed in the Christian
gospels.
While the Palm Sunday and Easter
observances of Holy Week are generally more joyful, Maundy Thursday observances
take on a more solemn tone and focus on two primary rituals that are portrayed
in the biblical accounts of the Last Supper.
The name "Maundy
Thursday" is derived from the Latin word mandatum meaning
"commandment." The primary commandment of Jesus' message is found in
the story of the Last Supper when Jesus humbles himself to wash the feet of his
apostles prior to the traditional Passover meal. He then commands them to
"Love one another as I have loved you" (John 13:34). In observance of
this commandment, the act of feet-washing is often performed by clergy as part
of Maundy Thursday church services.
The other important Christian
ritual to come out of the Last Supper story is that of the Eucharist or Holy
Communion. Described in all three of the synoptic gospels and expounded upon in
Paul's epistle to the Corinthians, Christians take communion to replicate
Jesus' giving of bread and wine to his apostles during their final meal
together. While different denominations may maintain different specific
interpretations of the ritual, many incorporate a special communion into the
Maundy Thursday liturgy.
Despite the fact that there has
been some debate over the actual dating of the Last Supper within Holy Week,
the traditional identification as a Passover meal has had a strong influence on
the way that many Christians mark Maundy Thursday. It is not uncommon for
smaller groups or entire congregations to celebrate the occasion with a
traditional Passover Seder instead of or in addition to church services and
communion. The Maundy Thursday Seder has been used by many as an occasion to
remember and celebrate the origins of Christianity in Judaism and the strong
ties that the two religions maintain.
